Surtech and Britech Limited are both incorporated in Kenya. Surtech Ltd, Registered Consulting Engineers, works closely with our Environmental Engineering Consultancy, Britech Ltd. which is registered with the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) as a firm of Lead Environmental Impact Assessment /Audit Experts.

Surtech was formed in 1981 and Britech in January, 2001.

The companies undertake Civil, Structural and Building Engineering projects which include all of the engineering works through design and project implementation for highways, water supplies, sewerage and building schemes, factories, industrial developments, mobile phone and electricity transmission towers, hospitals, housing estates and agricultural enterprises.

Site Investigations, Materials Surveys, Design and Quality Control Testing, Environmental Audits and Impact Assessment Studies for Civil, Structural and Building Engineering Projects in the region are undertaken by the consultancies from our Nairobi Head Office.

The Consultancies maintain a central geotechnical laboratory in Nairobi which is permanently staffed with Professional Engineers and Technicians. It is fully equipped and capable of undertaking all the main classes of soils and materials testing for specification compliance and foundation engineering. The company has an uninterrupted power supply, computerized reporting facilities and the latest computer aided design capability.

Engineers Eli Miano and Peter Scott founded Surtech Limited in 1981.
